 Audrey Hamilton

Audrey Hamilton has been an abstract, digital, photographer for the past 7 years.  She has used Nikon cameras and is currently shooting with the mirrorless Nikon Z7ii.  Her early work focused on unique patterns of tree branches and reflected foliage in forest puddles. Audrey prefers doing all her own editing. This is where she connects with each image in designing something more than just a photograph. Recently she has been exploring with manipulating and stacking images in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to create a dreamlike collage of nature’s elements.  Audrey’s signature component of, rippling water is secreted in her newest work.   When not occupied with personal projects, she offers various portrait sessions to clients and loves collaborating on dramatic photo shoots.
Audrey grew up on a 20-acre farm and in Endfield, NY.  The forest and pond were her playground, and she has loved exploring marshy environments.   The Arts were another interest.   Her classical ballet and Suzuki violin  training, have shaped Audrey’s photography work to this day.  It wasn’t until her adult life, that she  connected with her passion for photography, as a way of healing from the passing of her mom.
Audrey lives in Cazenovia, NY. She has been a member of the Cazenovia Art Trail and CazArts, Creative Alliance for 4 years.  In April of this year, two of her abstract pieces were selected for a juried photography show at the SOAG Gallery in Ithaca, NY. Audrey has also had a few of her model portraits published in Pho-Mo Magazine.      If you see an image which you would like framed or used as a greeting card, please contact Audrey to discuss what you have in mind. She does send her images to a professional framer, whom she has known for many years.  All images are printed on fine art paper.
